You're welcome... I really respect the ability to work all the imagery you do into one piece. The melding of so many different objects into a theme.. well done! For the interim I'll just have to be satisfied with looking at your gallery! :gallery:

Live long and prosper.

Very reminiscent of rock posters from the 1960's. I like it. Nicely surreal without being incomprehensible. I salute you for pulling all that out of your head.

geez thanks a lot.....its been quite a while though since i made a surrealist piece....i got a lot of things in my head at the time i made this....sure glad i got most of them out....thanks
:iconleadtrail:

If you keep up this kind of work I think you'll surely find a place to apply your skills for hire! Yeah, I know what you mean about busy... I'm trying to find the time to learn the new skills of drawing while still working (and not taking a class) I've ordered some new books [link] I'm hoping these are everything they say they are :) I'd looked at one or two of them at Hastings Books and it looked pretty good. Most of my experience is in "technical" drawing for construction but nothing with shadows or subtle textures. I'll be putting up an object study I've been doing this last week to practice shading and curvature drawing. I'll have to see what you think! :)

can't wait for that....though it seems that technical drawing is more of a skill/tech thing...the way i see it the way you manipulate lines, shapes and all have an art in itself....gonna check that book by the way. its been a while since i read one....i'm kinda self taught u know
:iconkurvwerk:
I hope to see more of it. You have talent, there. :)

I've always felt that skills come before art... I have seen children's "art" and I'd have to say some of it is truly just that.. "art" They opperate in a realm of creative drive and have no need to "obsess" over whether a piece is " technically" accurate. :) Oh, for the days! Now I can't lift a finger to create art unless I find a way to " compose" first. Hense, the books. I'd love to have them this weekend but I think Amazon got them in the mail on monday so... next week probably.

In all things there is a forgetfulness,
never stop doing those things you enjoy,
for your heart may find no reminding
when your hands take no time for the doing.

Keep up the good work!

Great shifts, nice design. It's a compilation of technical skill and creative juxtaposition.
